Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern | Sansa’s Revenge

Sansa’s Revenge is a very easy crochet infinity scarf pattern designed with mixing stitches up for fun! I love this yarn, it’s soft, and laced with gold sparkles

This easy crochet infinity scarf pattern is designed for simplicity, however, it uses a varied basic stitches in addition to a few not so basic stitches, like the extended single crochet.

To make it easier, I created a couple stitch tutorials for the half treble crochet stitch and the extended single crochet stitch video tutorials to help you work the more interesting stitches.

Easy Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern – Sansa’s Revenge

the Crochet Inspiration behind the Pattern:

The inspiration for this easy infinity scarf crochet pattern came with a cool day in the middle of summer and the leaves were falling, I thought hmmmmm…Winter is coming!

The colors reminded me of Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones, with her fiery red hair <3.

Sansa stark

This made me think of Cabaret yarn, full of Fall colors in deep hues. I wanted to create something beginners would enjoy. Hope you enjoy it!

I really love this crochet infinity scarf pattern, and so happy to try something with different stitches.

You can wrap it around twice, or three times, but three is little snug. You can also pull it up over your head and wear it like a head scarf.

Here are all the details on how to create Sansa’s Revenge Easy Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern.

+ Gauge

16 sts and 9 rows = 4” x 4” or 10 x 10 cm.

Directions for gauge:

Using 5.5 mm hook, ch 16, + 2, *dc in 3rd ch from hook and across (16 dc), ch 2, turn, repeat from * for a total of 9 rows.

+ Materials

A little bit about the yarn…

Cabaret by Stylecraft is a thin yarn, filled with color and sparkles. I purchased mine from Wool Warehouse, however, it is also available at Love Crafts.

Although – they seem to be out of stock right now. Check back soon. I found some on in the Little Wool Shop too!

The yarn is lovely to work with and this pattern creates a stripped look to it. They have other colorways too that are just beautiful.

Stylecraft’s yarn dye pattern flows wonderfully from one color to the next, and creates a completely different look with different patterns.

Sansa’s Revenge easy crochet infinity scarf pattern requires nearly two full skeins of Stylecraft, Cabaret, Rain forest colorway, using a 5.5 mm hook (I).

However, it seems like it’s hard to find this yarn – so Hobbii has a very similar yarn that looks exactly like Rainforest. It’s called Universe yarn in the colorway Solar Eclipse (appropriate for the Infinite Yarniverse!)

Wool Warehouse does have a few colors left of Cabaret yarn though and their shipping is great!

+ Pattern Notes – Please Read:

  • Pattern is worked with joins.
  • After chaining base chain, run your finger along the length of the work to make sure there are no twists in the chain when you slip stitch the ends together.
  • Join with slip stitch in first stitch from previous round.
  • Place stitch marker in the first stitch of each round.
  • This pattern takes nearly two skeins of yarn.

TIP: I ended up pulling the yarn out of the 2nd skein until I reached the matching color where skein 1 ended, so things melded together seamlessly.

Ch 233 join ends together with a sl st, creating a giant loop. You will work in the round (make sure it is not twisted). Mark your first stitch with a stitch mark- er.

Round 1: Ch 1, hdc around, join.

Round 2: Ch 1, hdc (third loop) in each hdc around, join. (if you need help finding the third loop of a hdc, head over to this picture tutorial on the Half Double Crochet Third Loop)

Round 9: Ch 2, skip 1st st, *exsc in next st, ch 1, sk 1, repeat from * around, join.

Please refer to this extended single crochet video tutorial to learn how to work the second and subsequent rows of exsc for this pattern, it’s a little odd, the video helps, however, I’ve written out to the best of my ability here:
