Wonder Woman Crochet Face Mask Cover | Free Crochet Pattern

*Disclaimer:  this mask is not a medical device, it is meant to be worn as a mask cover (to make those surgical masks a little prettier).

Crocheting in a pandemic is the one thing that brings me solace.  Creating something beautiful gives me a sense of accomplishment.  We all feel a bit powerless right now and to counteract that feeling I decided to spice up my surgical mask with something that makes me feel more powerful.

So I crocheted a Wonder Woman face mask covering!  I want to channel my personal power and take back some of the uncertainty, as well as make people smile a bit.  I am always here to help work through my patterns, if you would like to join my pattern support group, you can find that here…

  1. Love the mask but have a question about the ties, are they supposed to tie around the head or the ears? Mine seem to be too short to go around the head.

    • Hi Sharon,
You can modify them to go around the head if you’d like, but I made them to go around the ears for sure.
