As I mention in part 1, I created these squares quite small, using a 4mm hook & Lion Brands 24/7 cotton. They measure around 8″ x 8″ (all of the squares in the series will be small).

If you use a different brand, and a larger hook, your squares will be larger! Which is why I titled this post as a blanket OR a wall hanging 😀.

This is a C2C graph pattern. If you are not familiar with C2C, check out my beginner C2C tutorial here.

Check out the C2C blanket size calculator too, so you can figure out how big your square will be if you choose a yarn different than the recommended yarn.

I used the 5 / 2 corner to corner crochet method for the sample. This means that to start, I chained 5, then worked my first double crochet into the 3rd chain from the hook. Then used a ch 2, instead of ch 3 on the inside squares. This technique makes the holes smaller.

Place your finger on the image and do a long hold until options pop up. Scroll down and choose “save to device”

This one is a little trickier because WordPress does not allow saving of photos from PC (mine always end up blank for some reason).

So use this link as a direct download for the photo – please let me know if you have any issues. You can also use the “Print Screen” function or use a screen clip to capture it and then print.
