You asked, and I deliver! A few crochet buddies in a crochet group on Facebook said they want a C2C Baby Yoda graphgan pattern. This design is a long time coming, although I designed it a few months ago, I managed to get it up and out! The Child (Baby Yoda) C2C is a free crochet pattern filled with love and you’ll find the written pattern, as well as a graph for printing.

Even if you are not a Star Wars fan, you will love baby Yoda because he is just too cute. I created a few different designs and settled with the hearts because they seemed to fill the white space and make it a little cuter. lol. 
I grew up watching the Star Wars movies, and of course, being in love with Yoda, but this little guy overrides the Yoda of my youth. He is just adorable.
The written C2C pattern uses color blocks, which makes crocheting the blanket a bit easier. However, if you prefer to work from a graph, there is crochet graph available for print out below too.
The color scheme is Red Heart Super Saver done colors, which makes it easy to find colors to match the graph, but you’re welcome to use any colors you see fit! This is why crochet graphs are so much fun to create and remind me of the paint-by-number artwork from the ’70s. What I love most about graphs is you can create just about anything. It can be time-consuming to create crochet graphs, though. A lot of detail and pixel-by-pixel work goes into it.
The finished graphghan ends up being a masterpiece, though, and that is my favorite part.
When I created my first crochet graph, the Rainbow Unicorn C2C graph (another free PDF download), I wasn’t aware of what I was getting myself into! I didn’t realize it would take hours and hours of work to perfect it; make sure there was no white space or blank squares.
Another learning curve was discovering the size. Larger grid sizes look great! BUT, they are unrealistically HUGE unless you want to work the graph in a row-by-row fashion. Which is great, but we love C2C!
Therefore, below I’ve included some links to other posts I created about C2C and the graphing program I use to create my graphs. In addition, I included links to my C2C blanket size calculator, which has proven to be one of my most popular posts. For a good reason, too, it is so beneficial.

i am making this blanket and it is very hard to see the difference between the colors Frosty green and honeydew on the chart. do you have the pattern written out in a version for example row 27: Soft White-6, Light Rasberry-1, Soft white 20? this is a very fast and easy stitch but i am at a point where i cannot move forward due to not being able to differentiate the colors on the graph- Thanks!
This comment is for everyone to see…This original pattern is a full size blanket. One 7oz red heart super saver is 37 rows which is 703 little square boxes. Using hook size 5mm/US H. Full size blanket uses 4 skeins. The increase is 104 rows. The decrease is 104 rows to 114 rows. The total of the blanket 114 rows. For this blanket buying 1 skein for each color and 2 skeins for the white will work. Any extra yarn left can ve used for another project. I hope this helps everyone out.

Hello, this is a beautiful blanket. I am totally confuse maybe it’s because I’ve never done C2C. The post says written pattern, yet I don’t see anything written. I don’t understand what the little blocks mean. I’m thinking this pattern may be over my head (past my skills). However I would love to tackle it. Do you have any suggestions that would help me to get started? Like how to read the chart. Thank You

Hi. It’s a beautiful design. Thank you. However, at 120 blocks, it sounds like it would be super big. Did you perhaps do a mini C2C stitch? Any info on your finished product size, hook, type of yarn, etc would be appreciated.
Hi! Yes, it’s a big graph, but you can work it using a smaller hook or even choose different yarns. I’m about to update the post with a user made picture and the yarn and hook she used along with the sizes. It turned out to be around 200 x 200 cm, which translates to 78″ x 78″ – around 6.5 feet tall and wide. You can also work it in a smaller c2c like a mini or micro if you want a smaller pattern. Long time crocheter but I have never done c2c. I absolutely love this pattern but I dont know if I am understanding sizing. Can this be made for a baby orcis this just too big? What size yarn and hook

Good afternoon I’m stuck on row 9 doing it row by row when I do it the way the pattern is written I have 2 extra stitches. I’ve tried a couple other ways and it doesn’t look right. I also got to row 25 in my first attempt and had 3 extra stitches at the end of the row.
