Happy Halloween friends and Happy Monday! Part 4 of 8 of the Halloween Crochet Blanket & Wall Hanging is here! Meet the Witch Hat C2C square!
So far we have the Jack O’ Lantern, Smiley Candy Corn, and Boo Ghost! Today’s posts are the ghost & the witch hat!
This Witch Hat must be my favorite so far and I can’t exactly say why? I think I love the bright rose and fuchsia colors! Looking forward to tomorrow, and I will do my best to get tomorrows post out in time, but if you saw my Facebook story, I have come down with a cold. .
Pro Tip: Remember to block these after you complete and *before* you weave in the tails.

I’m having a lot of fun creating these, and hope you enjoy them too! When we finish, we will create 8 filler color squares and them sew or crochet them together to create a blanket (I may make a wall hanging).

Witch Hat C2C Square | C2C Blanket & Wall Hanging
As I mention in part 1, I created these squares quite small, using a 4mm hook & Lion Brands 24/7 cotton. They measure around 8″ x 8″ (all of the squares in the series will be small).
If you use a different brand, and a larger hook, your squares will be larger! Which is why I titled this post as a blanket OR a wall hanging .
Make all of them!
Sunday | Jack O’ Lantern C2C |
Monday | Candy Corn |
Tuesday | Ghost & Witch Hat |
Wednesday | R.I.P. Tombstone |
Thursday | Fall Maple Leaf |
Friday | Black Cat & Bat in the Moon |

This is a C2C graph pattern. If you are not familiar with C2C, check out my beginner C2C tutorial here.
Check out the C2C blanket size calculator too, so you can figure out how big your square will be if you choose a yarn different than the recommended yarn.

I used the 5 / 2 corner to corner crochet method for the sample. This means that to start, I chained 5, then worked my first double crochet into the 3rd chain from the hook. Then used a ch 2, instead of ch 3 on the inside squares. This technique makes the holes smaller.
