The Aria Headband is a simple crochet headband, easy to make, and works up fast! I used Scheepjes Stone-Washed XL for this one because I love the soft purple. It’s called Lilac Quartz and I purchased mine from Wool Warehouse, but you can find it online in America too! They have a lot of beautiful colors to choose from too.
This pattern uses a stitch I created last year called the Fleur-de-lis stitch. It’s a simple and versatile stitch you can use for blankets, scarves, hats, and just about any project, your heart desires.

A little bit about the yarn…
I used one of my favorite yarns for this project, it is called Scheepjes Stone-Washed XL. I normally use the smaller version of this yarn but tried out the XL and it really is nice to work with. Their 3-weight yarn is nice too.

+ Pattern Notes – Please Read:
- Pattern works in multiples of 5 + 1, using the foundation single crochet
- Joins are made in ch 1 (see tutorial video for help).
- Mark the first stitch of each round and ch-1.
- Make the first stitch of each round in the first stitch of the previous round, not beneath the joining chain.
To start with a chain:
Chain any multiple of 5 + 1, add 1 for foundation chain.
Round 1: Fsc 76, join.
Round 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in next 2 fsc, *ch 3, skip 2 sts **, sc in next 3 sts, repeat from *until you reach the end of the round, stop repeat at **, sc in last 2 sts, join. – 46 sc, 15 ch-3 sps.
Round 3: Ch 1, turn, hdc in first st, ch 1, skip next st, *(ps 1, sc 1, ps 1) in ch-3 sp, ch 1, skip next st, hdc in next **, ch 1, skip next st, repeat from * until you reach the end of the round, stop repeat at ** – 16 hdc, 30 ch-1 sps, 15 sc.
Round 4: Ch 1, turn, hdc in 1st hdc, *hdc in ch-1 sp, hdc in next ps, ps in next sc, hdc in next ps, hdc in next ch-1 sp, hdc in next hdc, repeat from * to end of the round, join – 76 hdc, 15 ps.
Round 5: Ch 1, turn, *sc in next 4 sts, sc2tog, repeat from * to end of the round, sc in last st, join – 76 sc.
Repeat rows 2 – 5 one more time, cut, tie-off and weave in all tails.
Connect the foundation single crochet row by closing the gap and weaving in the tail.
You can block this project to create a smoother and more uniform look too.
