Crochet Sunflower Coasters to Brighten Your Day (Free Pattern)

Crochet sunflowers are the perfect way to spruce up your Summer home decor. These cute and easy crochet sunflower coasters are sure to brighten your day!

Inspiration Behind the Pattern

I was surfing around and came across an ad for Temu sunflower coasters. Well, I’d rather make those then support Temu so that’s how these little cuties were born!

I hope you enjoy making them and please use hashtag #stardustgoldcrochet and show me yours!

Are Sunflower Coasters Easy to Make?

Yes! You can make these up in a day and they are perfect to give as a gift.

They use basic stitches, like single crochet, double crochet and half double crochet. No complicated stitches at all.

All About the Yarn…

I went with Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky yarn for the brown and yellow parts, but switched up to Impeccable by Loops & Threads for the leaf holder because I liked the bright lime color green and it has a very similar weight.

Yarn Subs:  Any worsted or bulky yarn will work great.  Here are a few similar yarns to try out in replacement of Paintbox:
