Peacock Stitch Tutorial | Beginner Crochet Video Tutorial | Stitch Explorers Series

Hi everyone! 👋🏼 Welcome to Stitch Explorers! Well, Fall is 🍂 in the air! almost, lol) 😀 I had to break out the glittery leaves and pine cones from Michaels to gussy up the photos 😁. This is a fun and simple stitch to learn for beginners too, I hope you enjoy it.

This Peacock Stitch is a beautiful fan stitch comprised of two stitches and a two row repeat! 🙌🏼

This would be beautiful for an openwork scarf or sweater. It works up fast too, despite all the treble (no pun intended) 😬😂. I’m somewhat of a nerd, and completely okay with that.

For the tutorial I used Scheepjes Stone-Washed DK in color 815.

What can I make with the Peacock Stitch?

This is a great stitch because it’s only two stitches, and works up in height very fast. I’d recommend using this for a light blanket, a pillow covering or even a nice textured scarf, cowl, or cardigan.

I hope you enjoy this tutorial, and if you have any questions or comments, please leave them below, I would love to talk crochet!
