The nights are getting spookier and that means it’s time for cozy Halloween crochet! 🎃👻🦇 The Chills & Thrills Crochet Blog Hop is packed with hauntingly fun and free crochet patterns perfect for the spooky season.

What is the Chills & Thrills Blog Hop?

The Chills & Thrills Blog Hop 👻 is a frightfully fun celebration of all things HALLOWEEN crochet, where designers and makers gather to share their love for spooky stitches and WINTER vibes.

This virtual event features an exciting collection of unique and free crochet patterns — from ghosts and pumpkins to scarves and blankets — all designed to capture the magic of October nights.

Just like any blog hop, you’ll “hop” from one designer’s site to the next, discovering new favorite creators, downloading patterns, and getting inspired to make your own chillingly cute creations.

It’s the perfect way to connect with fellow crochet enthusiasts who share your passion for yarn, creativity, and a touch of spooky fun.

  1. Hi Tasha ,just wanted to say your patterns are lovely and that some of us should have patience if a link doesn’t work or a problem as after all many are free .Cheers Happy Halloween regards Desiree

  2. Great collection. Really appreciate it. Tried to get the Ravelry knit look beanie, but doesn’t offer it for free now. Is that because I waited too long? ThanksAND I am sorry that people thought themselves so superior as to be nasty over a web post. SAD individuals.

  3. Thank you, Tasha, for correcting the download link for the Maya Cowl and Beanie. I was able to email you yesterday via your newsletter and ask about it, you responded this morning.I certainly appreciate your participation in this blog hop. You are so kind to provide your patterns for free. I know most knitters and crocheters are kind-hearted and am sorry to hear that some got angry when they could not download the pattern yesterday.

  5. Thank you so much for letting people know where the pattern was. I could not find it, until you posted the location. It is frustrating when the links do not work, and the time is limited to one day. Thank you for sharing the location. It is a very nice pattern. I am happy to have it.

  8. Where is Day 27’s pattern? I have tried numerous times, nothing show. Now I received an email Dana Nield telling of her pattern today and what to do to get said pattern. Well, guess what? Nothing. Day 27 is still not available on your site. I’m going to try to contact her for the pattern. What else is there to do?

  9. I tried getting the pattern for today, the Zombie messy bun hat, but there were so many ads covering almost every part of the check out process I could not put my information in, I do understand ads are a way to make a bit of money but that was truly ridiculous

  10. I’m not trying to be judgemental or anything like that but I have had more problems with your “free” patterns than I have ever had in a so called pattern blog hop.. Maybe you could be a little more prepared with your designers next time, please!! I have missed out on a couple of the patterns because the codes either don’t work or the “get pattern here” didn’t work…

  11. Has anyone had any luck getting ready 19? I’ve clicked and clicked on the get the pattern button and it goes nowhere, and there is no code, and the website states to click on “get exclusive offer here” , well I never found that sentence on the website anywhere… Please help!!!

  12. Hi Tasha. The Blooming Bones Sugar Skull Blanket isn’t in my pattern library. It should be, since I pad for the membership. Can you please add it? Thank you.

  13. Did anyone else get day 11? I tried all the way through up to last night around 8pm and it kept telling me the code did not exist, that really sucks, now that day has passed and no free pattern…😔
